4.3 Points to Note on Disassembly and Reassembly

4.3.1 Note on locations prohibited from disassembly

Locations that are prohibited from disassembly and cannot be adjusted outside of the factory have red screws instead of the regular-colored screws.
Also, note that in addition to the previous red screw, another type of red screw is added.

4.3.2 Moving the carriage manually

Move the carriage by holding down the [ < ] button on the operation panel for at least 0.5 seconds when the carriage is offline.
However, when the power is turned off such as during assembly or disassembly, move the carriage by holding the knobs [1] shown in the figure below.
Move the carriage as required during assembly and disassembly to prevent the carriage from contacting the parts to be removed.
You cannot move the carriage when capping has been performed. Refer to DISASSEMBLY/REASSEMBLY > Points to Notes on Disassembly and
Reassembly > Opening the caps and moving the wiper unit to remove the caps, and then move the carriage.
