WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
Preparation
1. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2. Turn off water supply to washer.
3. Disconnect hot and cold inlet water hoses and remove the
drain hose from the standpipe or laundry tub.
4. Tape the washer lid closed.
5. Carefully lay the washer on its back panel. Place padding
on the floor to protect the surfaces.
6. Remove sound padding and set aside.

Removing the Drain Pump (Figure 2)
1. Disconnect harness (2 terminals) from drain pump.
2. Loosen the hose clamps and pull the inlet and outlet drain
hoses off the pump. Note that there is a tab on the outlet
connector that fits into a slot in the hose.
3. Remove the three (3) 8mm hex-head screws from the
drain pump and remove the pump from the tub.

Removing the Recirculation Pump (Figure 3)
1. Disconnect harness (2 terminals) from recirculation pump.
2. Loosen the hose clamps and pull the inlet and outlet drain
hoses off the pump. Note that there is a tab on the outlet

3. Remove the three (3) 8mm hex-head screws from the
drain pump and remove the pump from the tub.
