Baffle filters

Fire hazard!
Oversaturated grease filters are a fire
hazard.
Clean the grease filters at regular in-
tervals.
The re-usable stainless steel baffle fil-
ters in the appliance remove solid
particles (grease, dust, etc.) from the
kitchen vapours, preventing soiling of
the cooker hood.
Cleaning interval
Accumulated grease solidifies over a
longer period of time and makes clean-
ing more difficult. It is therefore recom-
mended to clean the baffle filters every
3-4 weeks.
Cleaning and care
Removing the baffle filters
When handling a grease filter, be
careful not to drop it.
This can result in damage to the filter
and the hob below.
Make sure you hold the filter securely
at all times when handling it.
 Push the baffle filter upwards ,
swing it towards you  and remove
the filter.
 If charcoal filters are fitted to the back
of the baffle filters, remove them prior
to cleaning (see "Charcoal filters").
