Bathrooms

Please check the IP rating of any control to be used on this appliance.
Only certain controls can be fitted when the appliance is inside of the
shaded area.
An appliance with blanking panel or controls that do not change the IP
rating can be installed in zone 2.
Additional RCD (Residual Current Device) protection may be required.
Consult the latest version of BS7671 (IET wiring regulations).

Pressure relief pipe work

• The pressure relief drain pipe [1] and [3] from the appliance should
be at least 15mm diameter copper pipe and run downwards to a safe
point of discharge, away from any electrical equipment or other
hazard, preferably to an external drain or soak away.
• Pipe [1] should be finished with a partial bend, near the outlet to face
the external wall (as shown) to help prevent freezing.

WARNING: Risk of scalding!
Injury if discharge pipe is not routed correctly.
▶ The pressure relief valve is a safety device for the
appliance and if activated may discharge boiling
water or steam through the relief valve drain pipe.
▶ Care should be taken when siting the outlet pipe so
that it does not cause an obstruction or discharge
above a window, entrance or other public access
where it could cause a hazard.
