Doors can be removed by conventional
rescue tools such as hand, electric, and
hydraulic. In certain situations, it may be
easier to pry back the body to expose and
unbolt the hinges.
The vehicle contains side curtain airbags.
If undeployed, it is not recommended to
remove or to displace the roof. The side
curtain airbags may be identified as
illustrated.
The vehicle contains side curtain airbags.
Do not remove or displace the roof during a
dash displacement to avoid cutting into
undeployed airbags or inflators. As an
alternative, dash displacement may be
performed by using a Modified Dash Roll.
Responders should not place chocks or
rescue lift airbags under the high voltage
power cables, exhaust system, or fuel
system.
Power tilt/telescopic steering wheel and seat
controls are shown in the illustrations.
