Removing the battery

Prerequisites
1 Follow the procedure in
2 Remove the microSD
3 Remove the base cover.
Steps
1 Peel the adhesive tape that secures the battery cable connector [1].
2 Disconnect the battery cable from the connector on the system board [2].
3 Loosen the two captive screws that secure the battery to the palmrest [1].
4 Slide the battery inward and lift the battery away from the palmrest [2].
