Terms:
"PS Sw Delay": This delay applies when the RO is in "RUNNING" mode (pump is actually ON). It determines how long
the pump will continue to run after a loss of pressure at the dry-contact pressure switch input
"SV1 Delay": This delay applies when the RO is in "STARTING" mode (pump is actually OFF). It determines how long
the system should stay in "starting mode" before checking the pressure switch status and deciding whether or not to start
the pump.
"Auto-restart": In the event of a low pressure shutdown, an auto-restart attempt should be made. Basically, the system
goes into "starting" mode again. There can be a maximum of 5 restart attempts. After the 5th successful restart, the next
low pressure shutdown should put the system into OFFLINE mode with error code "problem found".
NOTE
This five-time counter on the number of restarts allowed resets to zero every night at midnight and
every time that the operator selects YES from the Main Menu/Go to Running screen.
The pressure switch is prewired at the factory to the GBE RO controller AUX board POSITION (J1) pins utilizing pins 2
and 4. The switch is factory set to 18 psi. The pressure can be adjusted from 6 psi to 30 psi by turning the knurled ring on
the body of switch clockwise to increase the pressure and counter-clockwise to decrease. One revolution is approximately
6.5 psi.
