• Drain bolt to 45 N*m (33 lbs. ft.).
2. Coolant drain plugs.
Important
If cleaning or repairing engine block, do not
install new drain plugs or the oil filter until
assembly of the engine block. Refer to
" Engine Block Servicing" in this section.
T ig h te n
• Coolant drain plug to 15 N»m (11 lbs. ft.).

1. Oil level indicator.
2. Bolt.
3. Fill tube.

Remove or Disconnect
1. Oil filter.
• Be sure gasket is removed with filter.
2. Oil filter connector.
3. Oil filter by-pass valve using a screwdriver or
punch to pry out.
Clean
Oil filter mounting surface.
