On the pickup lens
• Do not touch tile letts iuside the disc
cover. Keep the disc cever closed except
when insertittg and removing the disc. to
keep dust out.
• Wheu your camcorder does not work
because the pickup lens is dirty, cleatt it
with a blower (not supplied). Do not touch
the pickup lens directly durittg cleanittg
because this may cause tile catncerder to
malfuuction.
Pickup lens
rechargeable battery will be fully
discharged in about 3 months if you do
not use your camcorder at all. Use your
camcorder after charging the pre-installed
rechargeable battery.
However. even if the pre-iustalled
rechargeable battery is not charged, the
camcorder operation will not be affected as
long as you are net recording the date.
N Procedures
Connect your camcorder to a w:dl outlet
using the supplied AC Adaptor. and leave it
with the POWER switch set to OFF (CHG)
for more than 24 hours.
About care and storage of the lens

rechargeable battery
Your camcoMer has a pre-installed
rech:_rgeable battery to retain the date, time,
and other settings even when the POWER
switch is set to OFF (CHG). The pre-
installed rechargeable battery is always
charged while your camcorder is connected
to the wall outlet via the AC Adaptor or
while the battery pack is attached. The
