Stainless steel models can be used on all hob types,
including induction.
n
On solid plate electric, ceramic or induction, use a
hotplate of a diameter equal to or less than the diameter
of the base of the Pressure Cooker.
n
On a ceramic and halogen hob, take care that the
bottom of the pan is perfectly clean.
n
On gas, the flame should not go beyond the base of
the pan.
n
On any hob, ensure you place the Pressure Cooker
in the centre of the plate or burner.
n
Not suitable for use on an Aga
!
Never use your Pressure Cooker without
liquid: this could cause serious damage.

Use only original TEFAL spare parts suitable for

2 - Opening
n
Turn the tightening knob to the left to lower the
clamp.
n
Lift the lid to release it.
n
Slide it horizontally away from the pan - Fig 1
3 - Closing
n
Turn the tightening knob to the left to lower the
clamp.
n
Slide the lid horizontally onto the rim of the
Pressure Cooker, making sure it sits properly on the
pan - Fig 2
n
Turn the tightening knob to the right until the clamp
is in contact with the clamp hook on the Pressure
Cooker.
n
To ensure that the lid is locked into position, turn
the tightening knob again (at least three full turns).
4 - Filling
Minimum 25 cl (250 ml = 2 small cupfuls) - Fig 3
Maximum - Do not fill the unit over 2/3 full - Fig 4
For steam cooking
n
Use 75 cl (750 ml) of liquid - Fig 5
n
Place the trivet* (H) in the base of the pan.
n
Place the steaming basket* (G) on the trivet*.
For certain foods
n
For foods which expand during cooking, such as
rice, dehydrated vegetables, or stewed fruits, ... do not
fill your Pressure Cooker with contents of more than
half the height of the pan. In the case of soups we
recommend you do a fast decompression.
5 - Folding handles*

Before use, make sure you take off the
labels stuck on each handle.
