Specifications
This chapter describes the physical, environmental, and electrical requirements for a
cabinet similar to the 1000-38 cabinet. The following topics are in this chapter.

To ensure safe and proper operation of the system, and ease of maintenance, make
sure that all of these cabinet requirements are met before using the 6540 array.
Cabinet Specifications
This section describes the physical, electrical, and environmental requirements for a
typical 40U 19-inch rackmount cabinet.
Footprint: 600 mm (23.6 in.) width by 880 mm (34.6 in.) depth without door
600 mm (23.6 in.) width by 960 mm (37.8 in.) depth with doors
Base Height: 120 mm (4.7 in.)
Top Member Height: 50 mm (2.0 in.)
