Setting the EIS (Electronic Image Stabilizer)

The Electronic Image Stabilizer is a function that compensates for
hand shake and other movements while recording.
EIS provides more stable video when:
◆ Recording with zooming
◆ Recording small objects
◆ Recording while walking or moving
◆ Recording through the window in a vehicle
1. Move [POWER/MODE Selector] down to turn
on the CAM.
◆ The Video Record screen appears.
◆ You can select Video mode or Previous mode
as the start-up mode in System Settings.

2. Press the [MENU] button.
◆ The Video Settings screen appears.
3. Move the [W/T] button to select <EIS> and
press the [√] button.
4. Move the [W/T] button to select the desired
setting and press the [OK] button.
◆ On(
): Set the EIS function.
◆ Off: Cancel the EIS function.
5. Press the [MENU] button to finish setting.
◆ If you select <On>, the EIS icon displayed.
◆ If you select <Off>, no icon is displayed.
Note
✤ If you select [œ] button in the menu, the previous
menu appears.

EIS proporciona vídeo más estable:
◆ Al grabar con zoom;
◆ Al grabar objetos pequeños;
◆ Al grabar mientras se camina o se está en
movimiento;
◆ Al grabar a través de la ventanilla de un
vehículo.
1. Baje el [Selector POWER/MODE] para
encender la CAM.
◆ Aparece la pantalla Video Record.
◆ Puede seleccionar el modo Video o Previous
como el modo de inicio en System Settings.

2. Presione el botón [MENU].
◆ Aparece la pantalla Video Settings.
3. Mueva el botón [W/T] hasta seleccionar <EIS>
y presione el botón [√].
4. Mueva el botón [W/T] hasta seleccionar el
ajuste que desea y presione el botón [OK].
◆ On (
): ajusta la función EIS.
◆ Off: cancela la función EIS.
5. Presione el botón [MENU] para finalizar el
ajuste.
◆ Si selecciona <On>, aparece el icono de EIS.
◆ Si selecciona <Off>, no aparece ningún icono.

✤ Si selecciona el botón [œ] en el menú, aparece el
menú anterior.
