VACUUM MODE

• Turn the "change-mode" lever (7) clockwise to the vacuum
mode position. (Fig. 8)
• Make sure the vacuum bag is fitted properly.
• Hold the vac tube several centimeters (approximately 5cm)
above the leaves which you are going to suck up. Now turn
the machine on.
• Tilt the vac tube slightly and use a sweeping action to
collect light debris.
• The leaves will be sucked up into the tube, mulched up
and thrown into the vacuum bag.
EMPTYING THE VACUUM BAG
When the vacuum bag is full, the vacuum power will be
greatly reduced. When this happens, turn the switch to the
'O' (off) position and disconnect the plug from the electricity
supply. Wait until the suction fan has stopped completely
before opening the bag. Open the zip fastener inside the
bag, spread out the opening and empty it completely. If you
have collected only leaves or vegetable matter, they will
already have been shredded and will be ready for
composting. Zip up the bag and resume work.
WARNING!
Before re-fitting the dust bag, clean the inside of the outlet
opening, removing any shredded deposits. Pay special
attention to the cleaning of the supporting edges of the air
flow deviator inside of the motor housing.
BODY ACTION
• Hold the machine as shown in Fig. 9 and 10, tilting the
Blower/Suction pipe slightly, and use a sweeping action to
collect light debris with a few inches distance between the
opening of Blower/Suction pipe and the floor or ground to
be clean up.
• The leaves will be sucked up into the pipe, chopped up and
thrown into the waste bag.

MAINTENANCE

WARNING!
Always disconnect the power supply before the machine is
cleaned, serviced or maintenance is performed.
1. Take care of your machine and clean it regularly to obtain
long-lasting efficiency and performance.
2. When you have finished work, remove the dust bag, turn
it upside down and clean it thoroughly. Debris caught
between the zipper teeth may cause the zipper to break.
Leaving wet or damp material in the bag will cause the
bag to rot. The vacuum bag is a consumable item and is
susceptible to wear and tear, therefore it is not covered by
the warranty.
3. Keep the air vents clean and free from grass.
4. Use only a warm damp cloth and a soft brush to clean
your machine. Household cleaners that contain aromatic
oils such as pine and lemon, and solvents such as
kerosene, can damage the plastic housing.
5. Never wet or spray water on the machine.
6. If vacuum power decreases and the bag is empty, clean
the shredding chamber carefully.
7. If the blower vibrates abnormally, stop the motor
immediately. Abnormal vibration usually indicates a
mechanical problem. Continued operation could lead to
injury or damage.
8. No lubrication is needed as the motor is equipped with
lifetime-lubricated bearings.
9. Store the machine in a dry place out of the sun.
