Current Certificate: Select to

Security settings

Locking the phone
The S103 provides several locking
modes which are described
below. When the restriction is set,
you will have to enter your security
code to proceed. This is so you
can prevent others from using
your phone.
Note: As for Restrict Calls on the
network service, see p. XX.
1 Open the Restriction Settings
display.
• Press O →
→ Security
→ Restriction Settings
2 Select a restriction option and
press O.
Key Lock: Locks all the keys and
restricts use of the
phone except for
receiving calls, making
emergency calls and
diverting calls.
Lock Phonebook: Locks use of
the Phonebook or
other related functions.
Restrict Dial: Restricts use of Call
Logs or direct number
input to make outgoing
calls. Use of the
Phonebook is available.
Auto Keypad Lock: Sets Dial Lock
automatically every
time you turn the
power on.
Settings
Setting the Secret mode
You can assign "Secret" status to
a phonebook entry and make the
entry secret, preventing others
from seeing the information. First,
you have to set Secret Mode On.
Then you must make the entry in
the Phonebook (or Schedule) a
secret entry. Finally, if you set
Secret Mode Off, the secret
entries will not be shown on the
display.
Setting the Secret mode On
1 Open the Secret Mode display.
• Press O →
→ Security
→ Secret Mode
2 Select On and press O.
