Phone settings

Setting the clock
It is recommended that you set
the clock before starting to use
the phone so that all time-related
information is displayed correctly.
You will need to set the clock to
use the camera functions.
1 Open the Date & Time display.
• Press O → → Phone
Settings → Date & Time
2 Select from the following
options and press O.
Set Date/Time: Enters or edits the
year, day, and time.
Set Time Zone: Selects a city for
your home area.

Time Difference: Selects a city for
the time you want to
display on the screen.
Daylight Saving: Displays the clock
in Day Light Saving
time.
Setting home Time Zone and Time
Difference
This is an optional function for
those who travel between
countries or those who want to
show the time in other cities
without having to adjust the clock.
You should set the Time Zone of
your phone's clock first, and then
set the city to display the time
difference. Your Time Zone and
the other area can be selected
from 36 cities around the world.
1 Select Set Time Zone and
press O.
2 Select the city for your home
area and press [Set] or O.
3 Select Time Difference and
press O.
4 Select On and press O.
5 Select the city corresponding to
the time you want to display on
your screen, and then press
[Set] or O.
Adjusting the clock to Daylight
Saving Time
If you set Daylight Saving to On,
your phone will show Daylight
Saving Time without having to
adjust the clock. If you set this to
Off, the time shown on the screen
returns to the normal time.
Settings
1 Select Daylight Saving and
press O.
2 Select On and press O.
Setting Ringtones for incoming
calls or messages
You can set ringtones for a
notification of incoming voice calls
or video calls, incoming messages
or other notices such as incoming
Delivery Report or incoming
PUSH.
1 Open the Ringtones display.
• Press O → → Phone
Settings → Ringtones
2 Select the notification for which
to set the ringtone and press
O.
3 Set each item and press O.
