Accessing the EZ Connect™ Wireless Cable Modem Gateway's Web Management
To access the EZ Connect™ Wireless Cable Modem Gateway's web-based management screens,
follow the steps below:
1. Launch your web-browser.
NOTE: Your computer does not have to be ONLINE to configure the EZ Connect™
Wireless Cable Modem Gateway.
2. In the Address Bar, type: http://192.168.0.1
3. When the Gateway's Login screen appears, enter the default username and password,
There are 2 default login accounts, one for the User and one for the Installer:
Installer Login – for use by cable operator only
USERNAME: mso
PASSWORD: msopassword
User Login – for use by subscriber
USERNAME: cusadmin
PASSWORD: password
NOTE: Usernames and Passwords are case sensitive
4. Once you have logged into the Gateway's web-based admin screen, you have several
options and features which can be configured.
All features available and how to configure each one is outlined in the next section
