Setting an RF Generator/Analyzer Frequency Offset
NOTE:
A 45 MHz offset is required for making a call or making measurements in CDMA mode.
To Turn Off RF Frequency Offset
To Change the RF Frequency Offset
You can set a fixed frequency offset between the RF Generator and the RF
Analyzer. At power-up and instrument preset this feature is ON with a
transmit/receive frequency offset of 45 MHz.
1. Access the CONFIGURE screen.
2. Position the cursor below the RF Display field and select Freq.
3. Set the RF Offset to Off.
HP-IB Example
"CONF:OMOD 'OFF'"
turns the RF frequency offset off
1. Access the CONFIGURE screen.
2. Position the cursor below the RF Display field and select Freq.
3. Set the RF Offset to On.
4. Enter an offset frequency ((Gen)-(Anl)).
