Section 3.18.3: Software redundancy

The "Software Redundancy" function (see section 3.18.3) is not featured in the IM 152 interface module. We recommend the
use of the S7-400H for increased fault tolerance.

Section 7: Maintenance

Reading service data
If you need to contact our Customer Support due to a service event, the department may require specific information on the
status of an ET200iSP station in your system for diagnostic purposes. This information is available as of FW version V2.0.5
of the IM 152 in the service data.
Select the "Target system -> Save service data" command to read this information and save the data to a file to forward to
Customer Support.
Prerequisites
Installation of STEP 7 version 5.3 or higher.
Note the following:
● Save the service data directly after a ET200sSP station has failed.
● Establish a direct connection via to the IM 152 via Profibus.
In a redundant system, you need to establish the connection to only one of the two IM 152.
Procedure
1. From the SIMATIC Manager menu choose "Target system > Show available stations".
2. Select the affected station.
3. Select the "PLC > Save service data" command
In the next dialog box, select the file path and the file names for the service data.
4. Save the file.
5. Forward these files to Customer Support on request.
