ENGINE-Transmission Assembly,
A. Removal
1)
Pull out the two shift fork guide bars.
2) Remove both the transmission assembly and the
shift assembly from the crankcase, while tapping
the drive shaft end with a soft-faced-hammer.
B. Reinstallation
Reinstall the transmission and shifter as a unit in the
left crankcase half afte,r they are sub-assembled
They cannot be installed separately. The transmission
unit must be in neutral during installation.
