Electric Auto-Lift Fryer
Failure to comply with the maintenance below could result in a serious accident.
Your fryer will need periodic maintenance and servicing. We strongly suggest
that you use only a service company that is authorized by BKI to do this work.
The restraining device must always be connected when the appliance is in
service. Disconnect for movement, such as servicing or cleaning. Reconnect the
restraint when fryer has been returned to its normal position
The BLF appliance is not intended to be cleaned with a water jet.

Replace filter pad. Refer to
the procedure in this manual.
Filter the shortening using
the procedure in this manual.
Pull fryer out and wipe down
& clean all surfaces,
especially horizontal, on rear
of fryer.
Pull fryer out and clean floor
under fryer.
Perform the boil-out
procedure in this manual.
Check for leakage while oil is
pumping.
Check for leakage around fry
pot top deck and fittings
(heaters, hi-limit, thermostat,
etc.).
