Installing on the DIN rail

Installation
1. Place the third housing guide of the device on the top edge of the DIN rail
2. Press the device down against the DIN rail until the spring catch locks in place
3. Connect the power supply, refer to the section "Power supply (Page 42)".
4. Fit the connectors for the digital input and digital output, refer to the section "Digital
input/output (Page 45)".
5. Connect the device to the DSL connection, refer to the section "DSL interface (Page 48)".
6. Connect the device to the local network, refer to the section "Ethernet port (Page 49)".
7. Connect the terminal with as short a cable as possible ≤ 150 mm and a large cross-
sectional area of 1.5 mm² to the functional ground of the system, see section "Terminals
(Page 24)" and section "Grounding (Page 44)".
Dismantling
1. Disconnect all connected cables.
2. Release the DIN rail catch on the bottom of the device using a screwdriver.
3. Pull lower part of the device away from the DIN rail.
