Operating Modes

This calculator has five operating modes to perform various operations.
These modes are selected from the MODE key.

Selecting a mode

Press b.
1.
The menu display appears.
Press d to display the next menu
page.
Press 0 to select the NORMAL mode.

• In the menu display, press the assigned
number to choose or recall a selection.

What you can do in each mode

NORMAL mode:
Allow you to perform standard scientific calculations, Differential/Integral
functions, N-base calculations, Solver function, Simulation calculation.
STAT (statistics) mode:
Allows you to perform statistical calculations.
PROG (program) mode:
Allows you to create and use programs to automate simple or complex
calculations.
EQN (equation) mode:
Allows you to perform equation solvers, such as quadratic equation.
CPLX (complex) mode:
Allows you to perform arithmetic operations with complex numbers.
