CAUSE
Not connected to
power source
Teeth are dull. This is
caused by hitting a hard
object such as a nail,
dulling teeth on one side.
The blade tends to cut
to the side with the
sharpest teeth
Edge guide or straight
edge is not being used
Blade is dull
Blade is on backwards
Blade is bent
Workpiece is not
properly supported
Incorrect blade is
being used

SOLUTION
Plug the circular saw into
a power source
Change to a new,
sharp blade
Use an edge guide
(available separately)
or straight edge
(available separately)
Change to a new,
sharp blade
Install the blade correctly
Replace with a
new blade
Clamp the workpiece
correctly and tightly
Use the correct blade
