OPERATING THE SAW
(Figs. 10, 11 and 12)
It is important to understand the
correct method for operating the
saw. Refer to the instructions in
this section to learn the correct
and incorrect ways for handling
the saw.
NOTICE: Install the blade on the
saw before operating the saw.
Refer to the ASSEMBLY section
of the manual.

DANGER: When lifting the
saw from the workpiece, the
blade is exposed on the underside
of the saw until the lower blade
guard closes. Make sure that
the lower blade guard is closed
before setting the saw down.

WARNING: To make sawing
easier and safer, always maintain
proper control of the saw. Loss of
control could cause an accident
resulting in possibly serious injury.
ѥ
WARNING: If the blade
comes in contact with the
workpiece before it reaches full
speed, it could cause the saw to
"kickback" towards you, which
could result in serious injury.
ѥ
WARNING: Always securely
clamp and support the workpiece.
Always maintain proper control
of the saw. Failure to clamp and
support the workpiece and the
resulting of loss of control of the saw could result in serious injury.

WARNING: Do not bind the blade in the cut. It could cause the saw to
"kickback" towards you, which could result in serious injury.

WARNING: To avoid personal injury, do not use the circular saw to make
pocket cuts.
