Pause Dialing (Memory Linking)

1. Enter the first group of numbers from
the keypad or recall them from memory
using ‰.
2. Insert a pause by pressing Ï, Í. ø will
appear where the pause is inserted. To
store, press Ø.
3. Enter the next group of numbers, or recall
them from memory by pressing Ï, ‰,
two-digit location number.
4. Repeat this sequence for as many groups
as you wish up to a maximum of 32 digits.
(Each pause occupies a digit.)
EXAMPLE To construct a number sequence
which you might use to inquire about your bank
balance, follow this example. The entry sequence
required by the bank is to call the access number,
wait for the tone, enter your ID number followed
by £, wait for the tone, then enter your account
number and £.
The bank's telephone number is 123-4567. Your
ID number is 888. Your account number is 22.
NOTE Pressing • or £ may be required by the
bank.
