Indicators on the display panel
A Playback channel indicator
The letters (L, C, R, etc.) indicate the channels
being played back. Based on the speaker
settings, the box around the letter(s) vary to
show how the receiver downmixes the source
sound.

Surround (monaural or the
surround equipment obtained
by Pro Logic processing)

Lights up when the audio signal is output from
the SUBWOOFER jack.

channel and the LFE channel signal is actually
being reproduced.
D Input indicator
Lights up to indicate the current input.

Lights up when BD/DVD is selected. However,

I Dolby Pro Logic indicator
Lights up the respective indicator when the
receiver performs Dolby Pro Logic processing.
This matrix surround decoding technology can
enhance input signals.
