Water Supply/Extraction
Do not drill without water cooling! If the water
supply is interrupted for a significant period of
time, damage may result to the core bit or the
core bit may become jammed in the work piece.
Water Supply
Close the water shut-off valve 18. Connect the water
supply line to the tap connection piece 2. The supply-
ing of water is possible from a mobile pressurised wa-
ter container (optional accessory) or stationary water
connection.
Water Extraction
To collect the water that emerges from the drilling, use
a water collection ring (accessory) and an all-purpose
vacuum cleaner.
Place the water collection ring 11 together with the
holding device 9 in the support bracket 7 of the drill
stand. Tighten the ring screws 8 far enough so that
the water collection ring is positioned close to the wall.
Connect the hose of the all-purpose vacuum cleaner
to the connection piece 12 of the water collection ring.
When changing the drilling angle or drilling with a
smaller diameter, insert a new sealing cover 13 into the
water collection ring.
The water collection ring 11 can be rotated in the hold-
er to place the extraction connection piece 12 in an
optimum position.
clamping lever 10, rotate the water collection ring in
the clamping band to the desired position and close
the clamping lever 10 again.

Putting into Operation

Ensure that the mains voltage is correct!
The voltage of the power source must agree with the
value given on the nameplate of the machine. Ma-
chines designated for 230 V can also be operated with
220 V.
Use suitable detectors to find hidden utility
s
lines or call the local utility company for as-
sistance. Contact with electric lines can lead to
fire or electrical shock. Damaging a gas line can re-
sult in an explosion. Penetrating a water pipe will
cause property damage or an electrical shock.
