9-2-2. Neither indoor nor outdoor unit runs
A. Power is not supplied.
Check power supply.

Power is being supplied
to the outdoor unit.
B. Check remote control unit.
Try to run with another remote

control unit.
First remote control unit is defective.

• Check for residue buildup on
transmitter of remote control unit.
• Check for residue buildup on remote
control receiver on front of indoor
unit.
C. Check "operation selector" switch in the indoor unit.
OPERATION selector switch is

set in ON position.
Set OPERATION selector switch
to ON.
D. Check transformer in indoor unit.
Measure resistance of primary and

secondary winding.
