Section 5 ~ Transferring a Call
During a call if you wish to transfer the call to someone else you start by pushing the Transfer soft key. After pressing
that key it will allow you to dial the extension or number that you wish to transfer to, it will also have a button that says
lines. When you press the lines button it will bring back your home screen so you can transfer to one of those extensions
by pressing the line key associated with it. Once you select an extension and press send it will call that extension or
number. When the other party answers you can tell them who is calling and then press transfer again to complete the
transfer. If you immediately press transfer after pressing send or hang up it will blind transfer the caller over.
There is also an optional soft key called 2Vmail, if that option is available it will show up during a call as a soft key and
give you the ability to transfer a call directly to an extensions voicemail. Simply press the 2Vmail button and follow the
onscreen instructions. (Enter *9+extension)
