3. Operating the Boiler

3.1 OPERATING THE BOILER
1. Ensure that the electricity and gas supplies are turned on. Check that the
central heating pressure is between 1.0 and 1.5 bar (8 Fig. 1).
2. Turn the On/Off/Reset selector switch either anti-clockwise from the
off position (Fig. 2) to both central heating and domestic hot water or
clockwise to domestic hot water only.
3. In either position the display (5 Fig. 1) indicates the temperature of the
central heating water.
4. Fig. 2.1 Position: In this position the central heating will operate accor-
ding to demand or provide domestic hot water when a tap or shower is
turned on (3 Fig. 1). Priority is given to domestic hot water.
5. Fig. 2.2 Position: In this position hot water will be provided when a
tap or shower is turned on. The hot water neon (
Fig. 1).
6. The boiler will light automatically on demand.
7. The orange neon ( ) will illuminate when the boiler is operating and the
main burner is on (4 Fig. 1).
IMPORTANT: When the selector switch is in the '0' (Fig. 2) position the
electrical supply to the boiler is isolated. The boiler will not operate and
the integral timer (if fitted) will require resetting once the selector switch
is set to either Position (Fig. 2.1) or Position (Fig. 2.2).

3. Mise en service de la chaudière
3.1 MISE EN SERVICE DE LA CHAUDIÈRE
1. Vérifiez que la chaudière est sous tension et que le gaz est ouvert. Véri-
fiez que la pression de l'installation de chauffage central est comprise
entre 1,0 et 1,5 Bar (8 Fig.1).
2. Tournez le sélecteur Marche/Arrêt/Réinitialisation (Fig.2) vers la
gauche sur la position de chauffage avec production d'eau chaude ou vers
la droite sur la position de production d'eau chaude uniquement.
3. Sur ces deux positions l'efficheur (5 Fig.1) indique la température de
l'eau dans l'installation de chauffage.
4. Fig. 2.1 Position: lorsque le sélecteur est sur cette position, le chauf-
fage central fonctionne et produit de l'eau chaude sanitaire (3 Fig.1).
L'eau chaude sanitaire est prioritaire.

6. La chaudière se mettra automatiquement à tourner selon les besoins.
7. Le voyant orange ( ) du brûleur s'allume pendant le fonctionnement de
la chaudière et lorsque le brûleur principal est allumé (4 Fig.1).
IMPORTANT : Lorsque le sélecteur est sur '0 '(Fig.2), la chaudière
est hors tension et ne fonctionne donc pas. Le programmateur (s'il est
installé) devra être réinitialisé après avoir placé le sélecteur sur la posi-
tion (Fig.2.1) ou (Fig.2.2).
