Changing the Exposure Mode

This camera features five exposure modes along with the Scene modes.
Use the mode dial (p.102) to change the exposure mode.
Exposure Mode
Automatically sets shutter speed and
(Program) aperture for taking pictures at the most
appropriate exposure.
Lets you set a fast shutter speed to 'freeze'
moving subjects or a slower shutter speed
(Shutter Priority)
to show a degree of subject movement in
the picture.
Lets you set the appropriate aperture for a
(Aperture Priority)
maximum or a minimum depth of field.
Lets you set shutter speed and aperture
(Manual)
to create the picture you have in mind.
Lets you capture images that require slow
(Bulb)
shutter speeds such as fireworks and night
scenes.
Metering time is set to 10 seconds.
