Reach under the right-hand side of trim B
X
and lightly tug along the entire length of the
trim in order to unclip A it.
Pull out connector C of the surround lighting
X
by releasing the latches.
Place paneling B to one side.
X
On the side where the bulb is to be replaced,
X
unclip the remaining part of trim D from the
assembly with a strong tug, until the bulb
holder is accessible.
Remove bulb holder E using both side levers
X
F.

Replacing bulbs

Bulb holder
Backup lamp G: pull the bulb out of bulb
X
holder E.
Insert the new bulb into the bulb holder.
X
Rear fog lamp H: press the bulb gently into
X
bulb holder E, turn it counter-clockwise and
remove it from the bulb holder.
Insert the new bulb into the bulb holder and
X
turn it clockwise.
Reinsert the bulb holder until you hear it
X
engage audibly.
Position paneling D and engage it in place by
X
tapping it with your hand.
Before continuing with the installation, check
X
that all the metal clips are inserted in the parts
placed to one side: 2 clips ; in the upper part
of handle = and 5 clips A in paneling B.
If not, remove the missing metal clips from
X
the metal openings in the tailgate and insert
them in the appropriate places.
Take paneling B and connect plug connector
X
C to the surround lighting.
i
The surround lighting only illuminates when
the tailgate has been shut and reopened.
Position paneling B and engage it in place by
X
tapping it with your hand, starting from the
outside.
Clip in the lower section of handle : at posi-
X
tion ; again.
Insert the upper section of handle = into
X
lower section : and engage with recess ?
again.
