In this chapter, you will learn how to check your TAD greeting message, monitor
incoming calls, play and erase messages, and access your machine from a remote
telephone.
Note: the SF3000T uses electronic momory as a recording medium.
Recording time is depending on the content of the message, the total recording time
(TAD OGM + AUTO OGM + ICM) is about 12 minutes.

Checking Your TAD Greeting Message

For information about how to record your first TAD greeting message, see page 2.19.

Press OGM.
The display shows the
time when the message
was recorded.
The display then counts
down the time as the
message is played back.

Monitoring an Incoming Call

When the call monitoring
option is on and an
incoming message is
being recorded, you hear
the callerÕs voice through
the speaker.

If you want to speak to
the caller, lift the
handset.

à If you have not yet recorded a TAD
greeting message, an error appears in
the display. You must record a TAD
greeting message before you can set the
machine to TAD mode.
To change a previously recorded
greeting message, simply record a new
one. Your machine automatically
records the new message over the old
one. For instructions, see page 2.19.
à You can turn off call monitoring.
For more information, see page 7.10.
à The machine stops recording the
callerÕs message and you can speak
directly to the caller.
