Engine damage Unfiltered intake air has a negative effect on the service life of the engine.
Dust and dirt will enter the engine without an air filter.

Pull off air filter housing

Position pre-filter on the air filter housing.
Note
Engine failure If the pre-filter is mounted incorrectly or not
mounted at all, the air-fuel mixture will change. This has a
negative effect on the service life of the engine.

Make sure the pre-filter is seated correctly.

Attach air filter housing
