CAUTION!
Risk of injuries, and damage, if unapproved
backrests are used
A retrofitted backrest which is not approved by
Invacare for use with this mobility device may
overload the backrest tube and thus increase the
risk of injuries and of damage to the mobility
device.
– Please contact your authorized dealer who will
perform risk analyses, calculations, stability
checks etc. to ensure that the backrest can be
used safely.
CE marking of the mobility device
– The conformity assessment/CE marking was
carried out in accordance with Directive 93/42
EEC and only applies to the complete product.
– The CE marking is invalidated if components or
accessories are replaced or added that have
not been approved for this product by Invacare.
– In this case, the company that adds or replaces
the components or accessories is responsible
for the conformity assessment/CE marking or
for registering the mobility device as a special
design and for the relevant documentation.
