What to Do Next
The default settings are adequate for system operation. Amplitude averaging is an automatic procedure.
Caution
In general, Cisco does not recommend that you adjust values. Cisco does recommend, however, that you
clean up your cable plant should you encounter flapping cable modems.

Enabling or Disabling Power Adjustment Using the CLI (optional)
Purpose
Enters cable interface configuration mode for the specified
cable interface.
Enables automatic power adjustment on an upstream port
for this cable interface.
Repeat 4 for each upstream port on the cable

Specifies the percentage of frequency adjustment packets
needed to change the adjustment method from the regular
power-adjustment method to the automatic power
adjustment method.
Exits interface configuration mode.
Exits global configuration mode.
