Fan/heat sink assembly

Description
Fan/heat sink for use in models equipped with a discrete graphics memory subsystem
Thermal pad for use in models with discrete graphics
Fan/heat sink for use in models equipped with a UMA graphics subsystem
Before removing the fan/heat sink assembly, follow these steps:
1.
Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and
then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
3.
Disconnect all external devices from the computer.

Remove the fan/heat sink assembly:
1.
Discrete models:
Disconnect the fan cable from the system board (1).
2.
In the order shown, remove the six Phillips M2.0×4.0 screws (2) that secure the fan/heat sink assembly
to the system board.
