• Setting Up the Kettle
• Set the base on a flat, steady surface and plug cord into a grounded
wall outlet. (If your kettle has a removable power cord, attach the female
end of the power cord to the base first.)
• Lift off the kettle's lid and fill kettle with cold water.
IMPORTANT! Do not fill above the "max" fill line (1.2L).
• Replace lid with vent holes facing away from the handle.
• Return kettle to the base.

• First Time Use
• Fill the kettle to the Max fill line (1.2 L) with cold water.
• Replace lid with vent holes facing away from the handle.
• Place kettle on base.
• Press the ON/OFF switch down.
• Bring water to a boil, then empty the kettle.
• Allow the appliance to cool down for 1 minute.
• Repeat twice before initial use.
