Electrical connection

The power supply must comply with the requirements of your local
power supply utility and current VDE [or local] regulations (a: ÖVE
regulations).
Protect the power cable with a fuse with a maximum rating of 16 A.
We recommend installing an AC/DC-sensitive RCD (RCD class B)
for DC (fault) currents that can occur with energy efficient equip-
ment.
Make the power supply (230 V~, 50 Hz) via a permanent connection.
Connect the supply cables and accessories at the terminals inside
the boiler.
A flexible power cable is part of the standard delivery of the Vitodens
200-W. It can be connected via an on-site junction box.
For Vitodens 300-W, allow cables/leads in the shaded area to pro-
trude at least 800 mm from the wall (see diagram).
