    Connections & Setup Coaxial cable Outdoor or Indoor antenna Get the Picture The fi rst part of connecting your TV is to get the picture, also known as the signal. The back panel of your TV allows you to receive analog and/or digital channels by using the ANT Input.

  • Page 11 Connecting the Device High-Defi nition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) technology is an uncompressed digital connection that carries both video and audio data by way of an integrated mini-plug cable. Since HDMI technology is based on Digital Visual Interface (DVI), the jack on the back of your TV/DVD is also compatible with devices that have a DVI output jack.

    Regional Coding Both the TV/DVD unit and the discs are coded by region. These regional codes must match in order for the disc to play. If the codes don’t match, the disc won’t play. This unit’s code is region 1. Using Different Menus Each disc is programmed with different features.

Always keep discs clean by wiping them gently with a soft cloth from the inner edge toward the outer perimeter. • If a disc becomes very dirty, wet a soft cloth in water, wring it out well. Wipe the dirt away gently, and remove any water drops with a dry cloth.
