• Resolutoon
The number of pixels (horizontal x ver ical) used w h en saving an image.
If the image will be printed, higher resolutions (larger numbers) are
recommended so that the image will be clearer. However, higher
resolutions make the file size (amou nt of data) larger, so the number of
pictures that can be saved w ill be fewer.
• Resolution and picture size on a computer screen
When a picture is transferred to a computer he size of the picture on •
he computer screen varies depending on he computer's monitor
setting. For instance, a picture laken in 1024 x 768 resolution is the '
