3. DEFINITIONS OF SYMBOLS
WARNINGS!.
Read the operating and service
instruction manual carefully.
Be thoroughly familiar with the controls
and the proper use of the equipment.
HAZARD: Never use the rotary
lawnmower while people, especially
children, or pets
are nearby.
HAZARD: Before carrying out any
inspection, cleaning and servicing
operations on the machine, and before
unblocking the grass unloading pipe,
stop the engine, take out the ignition
key and follow the instructions in the
manual.
HAZARD: The blades are sharp; risk
of serious injury. Before carrying out
any inspection, cleaning and repair
operations on the cutting parts, stop
the engine and take out the ignition
key. Now disconnect the spark plug
wire, and keep the cap away from the
plug to prevent accidental starting.
HAZARD: The blades are sharp; risk of
serious injury. Wait for the blade and
all the moving parts to come to a halt
before touching them. The blade will
continue turning for some time after
switching off the engine or disabling
the blade control.
HAZARD: Risk of overturning on steep
gradients.
Do not use the machine on lawns with gradients of
more than 25% (14º).
Do not use the machine on lawns with gradients
above 15% (8º).
HAZARD: Hot surfaces. Danger
of burns. Wait for the engine to
completely cool down before making
any adjustments or servicing the
engine itself.
