Cause/solution
R Outgoing calls are barred. Deactivate the
outgoing call bar settings (page 44).
R Your call is withheld. Change the show my ID
setting to a setting other than "Hide ID"
(page 44).
R Fixed dialling feature is enabled (page 43).
Disable it.
R Incoming calls are barred. Deactivate the
incoming call bar settings (page 44).
R The phone could not connect to the service
centre. Confirm that the correct service
centre number is stored (page 41).
R Fixed dialling feature is enabled (page 43).
Disable it.
R SMS message transmission was interrupted.
Wait until the SMS message has been sent
before using other phone functions.
R When the SMS message memory is full, you
may not be able to receive any new
voicemail message notifications. Erase
unnecessary SMS messages to receive new
voicemail message notifications (page 24).
R Some kinds of SMS messages can be
received only by the SIM card. Check the
memory status of the SIM card (page 41)
and erase unnecessary SMS messages
(page 24).
R This phone only supports SMS/MMS
message services. Contact your network
operator/service provider for details of this
service.
