Installing the TLP4820

The TLP4820 is a power over Ethernet (PoE) power injector that converts AC power (100-
277VAC, 50-60Hz) to 48 VDC. The TLP4820 can supply up to 20W of power. It does not
support 802.3af power discovery.
Warning
Risk of electric shock. Turn power off before servicing. Certified 20 amp breaker branch circuit
protection is recommended.
Note
The interior of the TLP4820 is not serviceable.
Required Materials
TLP4820
One shielded Cat5 cable rated for outdoor use (sold separately)
Instructions
Unpack the TLP4820.
1.
Unscrew and remove the cable gland from the TLP4820.
2.
Pull the rubber boot out from the TLP4820.
