USING MUTE

The
button on the handset lets
MUTE
you talk to someone else in the room
without the person on the other end of
the phone line hearing your conversa-
tion. Press

BATT LOW indicator on the handset
lights steadily.

USING FLASH

You can use

produce a switchhook signal for special
phone services, such as Call Waiting. If
you have Call Waiting, press
take an incoming call without discon-
necting the current call. Press
again to return to the first call.

Some special services, such as bank-
by-phone, require tone signals. If you
have pulse service, you can still use
these services.

tone signals. When you hang up, the
phone automatically resets to the pulse
mode.
