appears if PIN code dialing is

set to ON (see "PIN Code Dialing" on
Page 46).
NO SVC
(no service) appears and three
beeps sound if you are outside the cellular
service area. See "Signal Strength."
NOT ALLOWED
briefly appears if you try to
make a restricted call (see "Selecting a Call
Restriction Level" on Page 21).
3. To end the call, press

Signal Strength

The vertical bar on the left of the display
shows the strength of the cellular signal
your phone is receiving. The higher the
bar, the stronger the signal.
If the signal strength is low, try moving to
a different location. If you are using the
phone in a building, try moving closer to
a window.
NO SVC
If
appears, the phone is outside the cellu-
lar service area. This means you cannot make or
receive calls until you move the phone back inside
the cellular service area.
