3.8 HDD Backplane

Each node supports one 2.5-inch HDD backplane. The HDD backplanes serve as
the interfaces between the server board and the node drives.
Before removing and installing the backplanes, power off the server and unplug the power
cord and make sure all 2.5" HDD trays have been removed.
Removing the Backplanes
1. Remove all of cables connected to the backplane.
2. Loosen the securing screws on the backplane.
3. Lift the backplanes up from the chassis. Hold the backplanes only by the edges.
