Special features
• Touchware settings
The Touchware is started by clicking on the "Microtouch/Touchware" icon on
the desktop. The Drawing and "Right-click" settings should be defined as active
default settings under Touchsettings and Touchmode, respectively.
• Display brightness control (SETBRIGHTNESS)
The Setbrightness tool is provided to control the brightness of the integrated
back-lighting.
• USB 2.0
The "Plug and Play" hardware detection integrated in Windows 2000 causes the
installation of an up-to-date USB 2.0 driver. Therefore, it is not necessary to
reinstall the driver from the Docu & Drivers CD.
Note
When the operating system has been fully installed with the listed drivers and
applications, the Network controller entry in Other devices is assigned an
exclamation mark.
This network controller indicates the MPI interface. A corresponding driver is
supplied with appropriate software; e.g. Step7, ProTool, WinCC, WinCC flexible,
WinAC or Simatic Net.
