Cleaning

Disconnect the mains supply and use a lightly dampened soft cloth. Do not use chemical solvents or strong
detergents as these may damage the cosmetic surfaces or the screen.
Never allow water droplets to remain on the screen as moisture can cause permanent discolouration. Greasy
marks must only be romeved with a commercial cleaner specifi cally recommended for LCD screens.

Batteries

Remove batteries when the television is not to be used for a long time. Batteries left in the equipment may cause
damage trough deterioration and corrosive leakage , invalidating the guarantee. To protect the environment
please use local recycling facilities for battery disposal.
Important Safety Warnings

To prevent electric shock, do not remoce any cover.

Danger of explosion if the battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent
type.

If anything goes wrong, don't try to fi x it yourself and get a qualifi ed service agent to look at it.

Eye Fatigue

When using this product as a computer monitor, health and safety experts recommend short frequent breaks
rather than occasional, longer breaks, for example a 5-10 minute break after an hour of continuous screen
work is likely to be better than a 15 minute break every 2 hours. Do not use the monitor against a bright back
ground and where sunlight or other light sources will shine directly on the screen.

Environmental Information

This television is designed to consume less energy to save environment. You not only help to save the
environment but also you can save money by reducing electricity bills thanks to the energy effi ciency feature
of this TV. To reduce energy consumption, you should take the following steps: You can use Power Save Mode
setting, located in the Feature menu. If you set Power Save Mode as On, the TV will switch to energy-saving
mode and luminance level of TV set will be decreased to optimum level. Note that some picture settings will
be unavailable to be changed when the TV is in Power Save Mode.

Power Save Mode

When the TV is not in use, switch off or disconnect the TV from the mains supply, this will also reduce energy
consumption. Disconnect power when away for a longer period of time. Note that annually, using the TV set
in Power Save Mode has more power effi ciency than disconnecting the TV from the mains supply instead of
leaving the TV in stand-by mode. However it is highly recommended to activate Power Save Mode setting to
reduce your annual power consumption. Please help us to save the environment by following these steps.
