DO NOT OVER-REACH
Never cut freehand
USE EXTRA CAUTION WITH LARGE OR ODD SHAPED
WORKPIECES

WHEN SAW IS RUNNING

WARNING
Do not allow familiarity from frequent use of your
miter saw to result in a careless mistake. A careless
fraction of a second is enough to cause a severe
injury.
Before cutting, if the saw makes an unfamiliar noise
or vibrates, stop immediately. Turn the saw OFF.
Unplug the saw. Do not restart until finding and
correcting the problem.
BODY AND HAND POSITION (Fig. Z)
WARNING
Never place hands near the cutting area. Proper
positioning of your body and hands when operating
the miter saw will make cutting easier and safer. Keep
children away. Keep all visitors at a safe distance
from the miter saw. Make sure bystanders are clear
of the saw and workpiece. Do not force the saw. It
will do the job better and safer at its designed rate.
